Find the puppy
Browse the available puppies. Every profile shows real age, sex, price and photographs of that specific puppy — no stock images.

We ask questions back
Children, other pets, and how many hours the puppy would be alone. This part of the Yorkie puppy adoption process is not a formality — we do decline homes.
You see the puppy properly
Before any money moves. Fresh photographs of that exact puppy and its litter, taken on request — or come and meet them here in Lena, which is better than any picture.
You read the paperwork
The signed adoption agreement and the written 14-day health guarantee reach you before any deposit. Read them in your own time and ask about anything in them.
A deposit reserves your puppy
Only once you have read the terms. A deposit takes the puppy off the market for every other family, which is why it is not refunded if you change your mind — though it is refunded in full on an upheld health guarantee claim.
Twelve weeks, then travel
No puppy leaves before twelve weeks, whatever the legal minimum says. Vet examination, vaccinations and deworming are completed and documented, and delivery is quoted to your address in writing. Free collection here in Louisiana.
Arrival, and your fourteen days begin
Take your puppy to your own vet within 72 hours. The 14-day money-back guarantee runs from the day the puppy is in your hands.

Why we turn homes down
The screening step in our Yorkie puppy adoption process surprises people, so it is worth explaining. We are a small family breeder placing a limited number of puppies a year. We would rather wait for the right household than fill one quickly.
We say no when a Yorkie would be alone nine or ten hours a day, when a household with very young children wants a two-pound puppy, or when someone wants a specific look rather than a specific temperament. None of that is a judgement on the family — it is a judgement about whether this breed suits that home.

How long does the whole process take?
The Yorkie puppy adoption process moves at the puppy’s pace. No puppy travels before twelve weeks, so if you reserve an eleven-week-old there is usually a short wait. The enquiry, the phone call and the paperwork can all happen in a few days.
Do I have to pay a deposit?
Yes, to reserve a specific puppy. A deposit is what takes them off the market for other families.
Can I come and see the puppy in person?
Please do. We are at 128 Merrell Rd, Lena, LA 71447 and collection from us is free. Call ahead so we know to expect you.
What if I change my mind after reserving?
The deposit is not refunded for a change of mind — the puppy was off the market meanwhile. The full refund policy is here.
How does my puppy actually travel?
By air, a person travels on the same flight with your puppy in a carrier at their feet — never alone in the hold. By road, a climate-controlled vehicle with a driver who can stop and check on them.
Can I reserve a puppy from a future litter?
Get in touch and we will tell you honestly what is coming and when. We would rather have a waiting list than rush a litter.
